Sugar, Not Salt
2019 / Monologue
A man, struggling to express his feelings, recounts the story of the night his father died. The piece deals with the tragedy of the death of a loved one using humour, childhood memories, and an underlying feeling of time running out.
Based on my own personal experiences, this story was performed as one of the Lancashire Briefs monologue performances as part of the Arts Council England funded ‘Lancashire Fringe Festival’ in May 2019.
